The Pavilion Café Bar & Gallery is the hub of the extraordinary Hume and Hovell Cricket Ground situated in the beautiful Valley of a Thousand Hills in Strath Creek; a slice of true country right on Melbourne's doorstep.

We are located in Murrindindi Shire between Flowerdale and Broadford, 15 minutes from the Hume Freeway turnoff. An easy day trip from Melbourne, we are a 1 hour drive from Tullamarine Airport, and a half hour from either Seymour, Yea or Kilmore.

We operate as a café Fri, Sat & Sun daytimes and as a function centre for groups, dinners, corporate events etc any time by arrangement. Join us for a delicious lunch, Devonshire tea, mouth-watering cake or just a great cup of espresso (we use Coffea coffee).

We cater for functions of all sorts, from weddings and birthdays to writers' retreats and club gatherings, bus tours and corporate events. A great motor cycle club or car rally destination! Visit us on your way to the Goulburn Valley Rail Trail (open Feb 2012) or perhaps the snow.

Organise a social cricket match amongst your mates, your staff, your co-workers – we can provide a Cricketer's Lunch and bar service. If you're more serious, how about a training weekend – all meals in the cafe, and accommodation in the Not Out Inn.

The Long Room Gallery can formally seat up to 60 - seating for a further 30 available by utilising the intimate LIndsay Hassett Room and the fabulous verandah.

Our seasonal menu is created from fresh local produce. For large group & function bookings, we are happy to tailor a menu to your specifications. If you can dream it up, we can make it happen!

Choose from our range of local and regional wines. We also carry beer and some mixed drinks.
